Don’t sleep on this as a snare drum head. It is great for ringier drums (like metal) and also great to fatten up small diameter snare drums such as 12” snares. This head also allows for for pretty low snare tunings without annoying overtones. Oh, and the textured coating might last forever. I haven’t had one wear out yet!
