This strainer is excellent! The levers have this cool piston action and feel amazing to use. It's also super solid and feels very durable.
Setting up the individual snares was much easier than with the older Pearl triad strainer since the snares aren't wraparound with this model. Once you get everything dialed in, the snares don't lose tension even with very hard playing. This is definitely the best orchestral strainer on the market, in my opinion.
