I acquired this to float my TAMA SuperStar Classic 16" Floor Tom. I had to use 300 grit sandpaper to reduce the size of the rubberized grommets (topside) for the designated lug positions. Once I did this, it eliminated contact between the grommets and the drum batters metal ring (underside). This permitted the batter to have clearance to allow the drum to be tuned properly.
