The good... When I first received this hoop , I thought it was a great buy. Seemed really well made and not as much sanding was required to get this ready. I wrapped the hoops and it took it very well, and no tear outs on the router. The bad.... when I put the kick drum together the hoop was over sized with brand new remo heads. The fit was extremely difficult to get the class hooks to make it to the lugs and tuning would have been impossible. I’ll give the DFD the benefit of the doubt and maybe it was just this batch, but I would proceed with caution next time.
