The throw off worked as designed and has a great build quality for the price. Also, DFD has amazing customer service across the board!!! One note though, it needs to be specified that this throw off does not have threaded inserts/sleeves that go into the mounting holes. Therefore, you need to specify longer mounting screws than the thickness of the shell. I ordered screws for up to a 1/2" thick shell. and I had to find longer screws to make this throw off work with a 7/16" thick stave shell drum.
