I've decided to buy a second set of these wires, this time to use on my Slingerland Sound King C.O.S. snare. Thing is, I like the way the first set makes my Ludwig Acrolite snare sound so much that I wanted that same or similar sound on my Slingerland model. And this time, I also got the PVC snare straps since there is a place to mount them on my Slingerland, whereas on the Ludwig there isn't. The Ludwig will take snare cord only, because of its earlier-generation P-85 strainer/throw-off.
