Initially I worried about the quality of these clamps that mounted onto the hoop, but after 2 years of using them frequently, it works wonderful on my 18-inch floor tom. Part of my longevity with it is I don't adjust the height a whole lot so I keep the drum key through intact most of the time. Irregardless, I highly recommend these mounts?
