I have a 1963 Slingerland Modern Jazz Outfit (9N in the '63 catalog), and the stock floor-tom legs are so short (around 16") as to render the thing unplayable. This was typical of the era. Enter dfd and the DSS floor tom isolation mount. I was more than pleased when I received this bit of hardware...Extremely well-made, heavy chrome plating, and solved the height problem very nicely! Buy from dfd...you won't be disappointed!!
