Though my vintage 1976 Slingerland Buddy Rich TDR snare drum came with Stick Saver rims originally, I wanted to give this drum a real "vintage" look, as well as have it set-up the way Buddy would have played it, with Stick Chopper rims. Ordered a pair of these in 14"/10 hole and they are sounding great! The use of a cross stick on the rim is so pronounced.
