I'm giving this snare side a 5 star based on what it is, and the cost for the item. Bang for the buck you can't beat it. These heads have a crimped hoop similar to the old Ludwig heads from the 1990's and earlier. Used this as a replacement for an evans 300 on a phosphor bronze piccolo snare, response is a good and the drum cracks. Grat value for the dollar.
