I refurbed an older Mapex M Pro Maple kit. I put dfd heads on the bottoms and Aquarian’s on the batter sides. 13”, 16” and 18”. I’m 58y.o. And have played since I was 12.
This kit, without a doubt, is the best sounding kit I’ve ever played. I don’t believe you can go wrong with anything that dfd makes.
