All ouds are handcrafted in Turkey or Egypt by Mid-East Manufacturing, two of our electric ouds are handcrafted in Egypt by Morad Turki.  Other makers include: Mehmet and Saadettin Sandi.  Often made from a staved construction, ouds are beautiful instruments made from spruce or teak with varying degrees of decoration, carving and inlay.  We carry the Egyptian classic, Egyptian standard and even an Egyptian child model to get your oud playing started early!  Most ouds qualify for free shipping in the Continental US.
