World Max Black Dawg, Black Hawg and Black Guppy snare drums. These WorldMax snare drums are very similar to the Ludwig Black Beauty snare drums. Solid brass 1.3mm thick shells with a thick black chrome plating on all drums except the Battered Dawg and Hammered Dawg Series which have a red copper tint. All World Max Black Dawg snare drums come with high quality solid brass tube lugs. Options include vintage style 2.5mm solid brass single flange hoops, die cast hoops, 2.3mm triple flange hoops, standard hardware including 20 strand snare wires and standard side throw action strainers, and deluxe hardware including the S-3 strainer and very high quality German made 20 strand snare wires.
