About DW (Drum Workshop)

Drum Workshop (DW) was founded in 1972 as a teaching studio in Santa Monica, California, by Don Lombardi. Shortly thereafter, Don and his student-turned-sales-manager, John Good, began selling equipment, starting with a height-adjustable trap-case seat.
