14" 5 ply hard maple wood snare drum snare side (bottom) drum hoop, 1.5" wide (40mm) and 1/4" thick. The snare side hoop has slots cut into it to allow the snare wires straps or cord to pass through to the butt plate and strainer. It has thicker plies and is equivalent to a 10 ply hoop. This is a single hoop that is just like a bass drum hoop and will require bass drum claw hooks to tension the drumhead. It does not have holes in it for the tension rods like the Yamaha style hoops that we carry.

Unfinished, sanded and ready for finishing. The top edge has a full roundover bevel, the bottom is flat.
