Stick Chopper Chrome Over Brass Drum Hoop, COB Rim

Vintage style 2.3mm solid brass stick chopper snare drum hoops with extra thick chrome plating. COB stick chopper snare drum rims are similar to triple flange hoops except the there is no top flange that bends outward. Instead they are straight on the edge hence the stick chopper name and are also known as double flange hoops. The chrome over brass stick chopper snare drum hoops are available in 14 inch 8 lug batter (top rim) and snare side (bottom rim with slots cut out for snare straps/cord to pass through) and 14 inch 10 hole version (batter and snare side).

COB stick choppers were used on many of the most popular vintage drums including Slingerland Radio King, Ludwig Black Beauties, Gretsch Broadkaster, Leedy snares and many other vintage classic drums. Our hoops are thicker than many of the vintage hoops so they are more durable and warp-free over time.
