Both sizes of Wuhan hi-hats feature a medium-thin top cymbal for quick, expressive stick response, paired with a medium bottom that provides definition and projection to the "chick" closed-cymbal sound. The 13" pair is slightly higher pitched and faster than 14" models and it's a great sonic combination, while the 14" pair is a great all-purpose hi hat for any musical application.

Each Wuhan hi-hat cymbal is cast from high quality B20 alloy then carefully hand hammered and lathed before receiving a striking brilliant finish. At these prices, most cymbals are made from cheap sheet material, but the Wuhan Traditional hi hat cymbals are cast from the same B20 alloy used in many of today's high end cymbals. You will not find better quality or nicer sounding cymbals at this price level.
